ReplyDeleteAgree! I just flipped on the show after not watching g it for about 5 years and her face freaked me out. She's the same age as me , but looks 15 years older. Yuck!
DeleteOn the Dec. 20 show I thought she looked much better then previously. She had gain some weight which made her look much healthier and she was dressed in a way so as not to feature her neck. If you see her all the time, you will kind of adjust to her new look and it won't be as jarring.

She claims to never had any work done if that she never would have it, but she seems to be the victim of rapid aging. Her neck used to freak me out, but now it's her whole face, her jaw and her eyes. Something had to be going on. I wish they would bring back Bo her original husband and stop pairing her with men whom she looks to old to be with. She is not even all old in calander years, there is something else going on, but I don't know what. I think she just got lip filler as her lips now look too big. No matter how much work she has done it's not fixing the issue, and if she doesn't stop she will end up like Joan Rivers.

ReplyDeleteThis article written about Kristian Alfonso is so poorly written, it sounds like it was written by someone without a handle on the English language. Also it's filled with stupid untrue comments. The article said Kristian was flat chested up into her 20's, but the truth is she had a very curvaceous figure and was quite large chested when she was starting on Days as a teenager and her character, Hope, was dating Bo. She was voluptuous with full lips and wasn't rail thin like she is now. She did not have breast implant surgery. Anybody who sees her photos as a teenager can see her natural fullness. After she left Days for awhile and then returned a few years later, she was more mature and had slimmed down all over, but still very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI can see the changes in the last year, in her eyes especially, and it's definitely a sign she's had some type of procedure, but she's still a beautiful woman and doesn't deserve the nasty snide comments people are posting. In Hollywood women don't have a chance to keep working if they don't have procedures to help keep them youthful looking, and I don't know of any who haven't had something done to enhance their appearance. The problem is, age keeps progressing and no matter how much they have done it eventually takes its toll on their looks and they start looking plastic. Plus not every doctor does the best work. I don't think that's reason to tear her down.
Kristian Alfonso is a seasoned vet on Days, and I don't think the show would be the same without her character. Although I'm not sure I like the weird story lines they keep coming up with. I've watched the show since I was in grade school and I'm almost 66 years old, so I have seen a lot of crazy story lines. What are they gonna let the dead rest???

Second of all we watch her almost every day and we are supposed to believe that she has not a wrinkle on her face and nothing done to it. She was rail thin but did not suffer a reduction in chest size. Her neck was so disturbing at one point, but she may of had something done to that also. I try to put it out of my mind and say to myself “it is not bothersome,” but it keeps distracting me from the plot. I may be watching, and I start thinking about plastic surgery and aging and I am not enjoying the show any longer at that point.
Average income people can’t afford to have all of her work done to them, so we may be victim to aging after 50, but we are not on screen playing a romantic heroine role with a younger male costar as in Rafe and Ted. But, she is looking better as of late, and I still like her character and her acting. She plays well with John/Drake because his age makes them realistic together. It was not a problem with Bo because their age is matched.
Well I just tuned into DOL for the first time in months and “Hope” looks horrible. I don’t know if she had Botox, fillers or plastic surgery but she needs to stop with all that! Yuk!!
